Lola Bates Premiering “True”

Transmitting her immense musicianship and love for nature, Lola Bates an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Los Angeles, California is premiering the music video for her latest single titled “True” released last year. Directed and produced by the LA-based film director Vicente Cordero and shot in Tennessee’s Radnor Lake State Park, alongside a studio session with Brown Owl Studios located in Nashville, TN. To celebrate, and release the music video, Lola is about to perform at Boulevard Records, 2006 Belmont Blvd, in Nashville on January 24th.

Let’s look at some key facts on Lola‘s journey thus far: Lola is an 18-year old musician who started her career collaborating with the film producer Tyler Bates, and the Grammy winner audio engineer Robert Carranza on the debut album “Red Hot“. She did her first major record at the age of 12 for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 at the Capitol Records Studios doing outstanding piano work. This led to consecutively performing with the London Symphony Orchestra as the solo pianist for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, at Abbey Road studios at age 15. At such a young age, Lola already has a stunning background in the music industry, including collaboration with legendary acts like David Hasselhoff, Marilyn Manson, and many others, leading her to a bass guitar endorsement with Schecter Guitars.

About her track “True” Lola states, “I wrote to express the truth I have come to know through the love and hate I’ve experienced in my life.” The song also includes a special music guest Gil Sharone who came to notoriety drumming in the rock world as a former member of Stolen Babies and Marilyn Manson just to name a few bands.

“True” was mixed by Grammy-winning engineer Robert Carranza, produced by composer Tyler Bates (her father), and pedal steel guitarist Michael Rozon, this new song expresses the maturity of her work now since the release of “Red HotLola has been working hard on developing her skills, the message of the song is set straight for her audience to find their own personal truth.
