Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Love Ghost is an alternative rock band, the quintet that creates music that will haunt your ears.

Formed by Finnegan Bell on lead vocals and guitar, Ryan Stevens on bass and backing vocals, Daniel Alcala on guitar, engineer and backing vocals, Samson Young on drums and backing vocals, and Cory Batchler on keys and backing vocals. The band mix reference of ethereal grunge and lo-fi bedroom hip-hop with emo feelings, trap beats, and guitar-driven alternative rock, inspired by The Smashing Pumpkins, My Chemical Romance, only to name a few.

They recently released an EP called Sabertoothed, produced by the famous Danny Saber, who already worked with legends like Rolling Stones, Madonna, and David Bowie. The record is full of great tracks, doing a lot of buzz with tastemakers, and topped with touring internationally the band is ready for the next level!
You can find out more about them in the convo below.
1- Where did you come from, where are you based now, and why?
I came from Los Angeles, and I’m still based in Los Angeles. I’m here because there are a lot of opportunities in this city and I love it. (Parts of it, hahaha.)
2- What does your band name mean?
Love and Death are the most important things to me in life. “Love Ghost” is a play on that.
3- How did you guys meet each other?
It happened slowly, meeting people through mutual friends, meeting people online. There have been several line-up changes through the years but we’re pretty solid at the moment.
4- What is the message behind SaberToothed?
Hmm, SaberToothed is really about self-confidence and changing into something stronger, We wrote this EP when we were in high school, and senior year, when I was becoming an adult, I just had to change and grow a lot so this EP is the reflection of maturity. If that makes sense.
5- How was the experience working with such a remarkable producer like Danny Saber?
It was lit, he’s a talented and a dope guy
6- What accomplishments do you see the band achieving in the next five to 10 years?
We will be a household name. I know that’s a tall order, but I believe in this music and art.
7- Describe your favorite part about being a musician and what you dislike.
Hmmm, I love traveling, I love writing, I love expressing myself. What I don’t dislike is how everyone makes this competition with each other. I feel like all musicians are on the same team at the end of the day. The team of making good music and bringing hope/happiness to lost souls.
8- Describe your favorite venue for performing and tell me about your favorite performance in your career.
I like a lot of different venues for different reasons. Something about the troubadour is always an amazing place to play. My favorite performance was in Ecuador. We have a lot of Latin American fans and down there the energy was just crazyyyyy.
9- Do you guys have any hobbies or interests outside of music?
Yes, I like acting.
10- What is Next for Love Ghost?
More collabs, more videos more songs, and a tour in Europe in March.
